Aromas of ripe dark berry, oak, coconut and a whiff of roasted coffee bean lead the nose. The bracing palate offers stewed plum, dried black cherry, toasted hazelnut and a green note of powdered sage alongside close-grained tannins that leave a rather grippy finish.
