For many years, Red Willow Cabernet was exclusively produced at Columbia Winery in a style that emphasized rather green, stemmy flavors. This is the polar opposite. It's roasted, earthy and tannic, with a mix of prune, fig and compote, along with a highlight of cinnamon spice. The finish turns lighter, with a leafy component typical of fruit from this vineyard.
