A blend of Touriga Nacional and Castelão, this is a wine that is almost too rich, too intense. Its dense texture and background of tannins are balanced with black currant acidity; however, the high alcohol does show with pepper and tongue-burning spice. That won't go away, although the texture will soften. Drink from 2017.
