Adelaida 2004 The Glenrose Vineyard Grenache (Paso Robles)

With very high alcohol of 15.5%, this Grenache has a hot, peppery burn in the mouth, which is unfortunate, because otherwise, it's a beautiful wine. The cherry, red licorice and vanilla flavors are delicious, and the tannins are rich and noble.
