Adelaida 2004 The Glenrose Vineyard Reserve Syrah (Paso Robles)

Inky black, very tannic and bone dry, this Syrah needs lots of decanting, or time in the cellar. Otherwise, it's just too ornery. Deep down inside is an intense core of blackberries and currants that longs to emerge. Hold at least until 2009.
