Adelsheim 2017 Calkins Lane Vineyard Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

This seems less fully ripened than the other single-vineyard selections from this vintage, showing stiff, herbal, astringent tannins along with tart red berry fruit flavors. Hints of orange peel lift the aromas, and the best strategy would be to aerate this wine aggressively. Paul Gregutt
