Aromas of ripe dark-skinned berry, dried herb and brown spice take shape in the glass. Made with 60% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Syrah, the lithe, rather subdued palate suggests cassis, clove and a hint of star anise alongside polished tannins.
