The flavor emphasis is on citrus rind, wet stone, along with some pollen and lemon oil. There is nothing very perfumy as with some Gewürztraminers; and just a hint of varietal oily character. Mostly it's citrus, grapefruit and citrus rind, and finishes quite dry.
