Al Lago 2017 Adagio Sangiovese (California)

Rich and extracted aromas of black cherry, caramel and creamy fudge show on the nose of this bottling from the hills above Camarillo, which includes 5% Syrah. The palate is viscous, showing strong flavors of loamy soil, black-plum pudding and fig, wrapped in creamy tannins and toasty wood touches. Matt Kettmann
