Charred meat, black-pepper, tar and roasted black-plum and berry aromas show on the nose of this blend of 68% Cabernet Franc, 20% Syrah and 12% Merlot. The palate combines smoked beef with blueberry and boysenberry sauce as well as black-pepper spice. Matt Kettmann
