Alain Voge 2003 Fleur de Crussol White (Saint-Péray)

Voge has a sure touch with the red wines, but this white is evidently a work in progress. On the plus side, it's broad in the mouth and reasonably rich. The downside is that it's perilously low in acidity. Flavors similarly divide, with pear and lemon notes but also a warm, buttery finish. Joe Czerwinski
