Made from the indigenous red grape Saperavi of Georgia, this attractive wine starts with hot spice and red berry fruit on the nose, then unfolds into a soft combination of sweet fruit and earthy spice. There's still an underpinning of rustic terroir character here, but overall, the wine is pretty and appealing.
