Albert Morot 2018 Dessus des Marconnets (Beaune)

Subtle notes of black-cherry ripeness are just a little fleshy on the nose of this wine, spelling generous ripeness. That notion is confirmed on the palate where the fruit is rich and juicy but vividly framed with freshness. Tannins are ripe and just a little furry, giving this wine a slightly rustic edge, countered by that very generous fruit. Anne Krebiehl MW
