Alberti 154 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

Standard fare, with baked, rubbery aromas and a tarry undercurrent. The palate is dense and packed, with sweet, medicinal flavors of brandied cherries and cassis. Rubbery and leathery in terms of mouthfeel, with a roasted, reduced quality to the finish. Michael Schachner
