An estate-grown 81% Merlot (the rest Cabernet Sauvignon), this wine takes time to come around in the glass, the alcohol overpowering the fruit at first. But in time, the red fruit and soft tannins mellow and make themselves known and this mostly-Merlot becomes a savory, food-friendly quaff.
