Alchemist 2017 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This is a pretty wine, with blueberry and black cherry fruit, matched to dark, rather earthy tannins. The acidity brings a burst of citrus through the finish, along with a streak of black olive. The wine was aged a year in (apparently) neutral French oak. Paul Gregutt
