89pointsAlderbrook 2000 Reserve Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley)

This is young and quite tart, still a bit closed in, but it shows pure, sweet, berry fruit that has the concentration of jammy preserves yet retain their lively acidity. Not much oak in evidence, just lovely Zinfandel fruit that speaks to the terroir of Dry Creek. Paul Gregutt
