Alexandria Nicole 2001 Lemberger (Columbia Valley (WA))

A clean, bright Lem, pushing up loads of raspberry and sweet blackberry aromas, and framing the fruit with crisp natural acid. It might be mistaken for Grenache, meaty but less rustic than most Lembergers. Laying off the new oak helps; this got just four months in neutral barrels. 55 cases made. Paul Gregutt
