Alfredo Roca 2013 Reserva de Familia Tempranillo (Mendoza)

Reedy, fiery, lightly green berry aromas suggest a wild pasture with horses. This is a chunky, big-boned Argentinean version of Tempranillo with saucy berry flavors and hints of tomato to go with plenty of oak. On the finish, resiny wood notes and mocha flavors prevail. Michael Schachner
