Allan Hancock 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County)

Best Buy

Made by students at the namesake college, this rosé is one of the best of the Central Coast vintage. Soft and delicate aromas of strawberry, rose petal and lemon peel show on the nose. The palate is chalky in texture and energetic in acidity, with snappy flavors of pink fruit and flowers. It's easy to quaff but engagingly complex. Matt Kettmann
