This varietal Xarello is organic, natural and has no sulfites, but with a floppy, fat, flowery nose and an amorphous shape, does that matter? Flavors of yeasty white fruits are plump and finish salty, much like popcorn. Overall this amounts to yet another weird natural wine with more faults than virtues. Michael Schachner
