Round and lush, with immense fruit from the nose to the palate. Beautifully balanced, with sweet plum and berry flavors, a lash of smoke and a touch of pepper and thyme. There's nothing raw or earthy about this wine; it's opulent and pure, a testament to vineyard management and great winemaking in a tough year. Doesn't even need much cellar time; drink from 2006–09. Imported by Rare Wine Company.
