Alzinger 2016 Ried Loibenberg Smaragd Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

This wine's pure notes of ripe green pear send enticing signals. The palate adds zesty lemon and floral woodruff touches, creating a green cloud of aroma that fills nose and palate. It's slender and taut in body, its salty midpalate texture beautifully pervaded by citrus brightness. The finish is moreish and totally lip-smacking. Anne Krebiehl MW
