Ambassador Vineyard 2014 Estate Grown Grenache (Red Mountain)

Wood aromas are out front, with notes of vanilla, dill and char, making it hard to get at the fruit. On the palate, the oak almost completely obliterates any sense of the fruit underneath as well. The variety is completely lost. Sean P. Sullivan
