Ana Diogo-Draper 2020 Tempranillo (Amador County)

#27 Enthusiast 100 2022
Return to List

Although the layers and complexity of this wine are amazing now, more will come as it ages. Black plum, blackberry and Mission figs are uplifted by secondary notes of chocolate, roasted coffee and toasted wood. More nuances reveals themselves as the wine opens. Rich, mouth-coating tannins are well incorporated, balanced by an engaging line of acidity and the energetic intensity of aromas and flavors. Stacy Briscoe
