As the label indicates, this is the eighth edition of this top-level reserve (none was made in 2013). It's given 40% new oak, and tasted alongside the winery's other 2014 Pinots it's clearly the most concentrated, with plush fruit, sweet spice, and highlights of tobacco and vanilla. Drink now through the early 2020s.
