Ancien 2017 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir (Oregon)

This well-respected California Pinot specialist snags some of Oregon's best grapes and does an O.K. job with them. Berry and cherry fruit, hints of tobacco and earth and a sliver of green flavors run through this wine. It's all well-made, just not fully realized, and overall less interesting than many other Shea designates. Paul Gregutt
