This is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown in the Foothills. It's tannic at first, with a mélange of clove and cinnamon spice, then blossoms into a lightly stated, red-fruit-driven wine with big shoulders. A trace of coffee lingers in the background.
