Amador-based Andis takes Chenin Blanc to new and wonderful places, with this beauty. What'll get you first are the intoxicating aromatics: Tahitian vanilla bean, pear and roses, with layers of orange and lemon zest in an off-dry package. The lightly sweet palate is balanced, especially on the finish, this wine just begging for the right spring rolls, fresh spicy shrimp or vegetable curry.
