André Kientzler 2016 Kirchberg de Riebauvillé Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Gentle hints of ripe green and yellow pear lead onto a dry but very expressive palate. Ripe and juicy pear flavors are clearly delineated. While some alcoholic heat becomes palpable on the midpalate, the pear fruit flavors are pure and vivid with lots of concentration. The finish remains balanced and dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
