This is the second vintage of this wine. The aromas of sweet spice, celery stalk, black cherry and anise are unusual. Full-bodied black fruit flavors follow. Firm tannins back it all up, with amaro-like bitters on the finish. It hasn't fully settled in yet but has good stuffing when it gets where it's going. Best after 2021. Sean P. Sullivan
