Angas & Bremer 2017 Chardonnay (Langhorne Creek)

Ripe upfront fruit—peach, pineapple, guava—leads on this wine, along with a little white pepper and toasty oak spice. The light-to-medium-weight palate, however, takes a somewhat sour turn. While there's chalky texture and lifted acidity, the sourness is a little off-putting and throws the wine out of balance. Christina Pickard
