The Hellion is 42% Primitivo, one-third Petite Sirah and one-quarter Zinfandel. It's a ripe, round and fruity blend with appealing fruit flavors of mulberry, blackberry and cassis. The tannins are a bit earthy, with suggestions of stem, and the finish comes up slightly bitter.
