The entry-level Zin from Angel Vine combines fruit from the three single vineyard cuvées, along with a splash of Petite Sirah. Rich, plush berry scents and grapey berry fruit flavors abound—boysenberry, blackberry and more, buoyed with natural acidity. There is no sense that the alcohol is intrusive, and the wine fades gently with hints of red licorice and cocoa.
