Angel Vine 2016 Cluster Fus Red (Columbia Valley (WA))

This wine is 80% Mourvèdre, with the rest equal parts Zinfandel and Primitivo. Its plum, orange peel, fresh blueberry, black pepper and flower aromas are pure, as are its similar flavors. The concentration dips a bit on the midpalate, but there are plenty of good things going on. Black pepper and orange peel notes linger on the finish. Sean P. Sullivan
