This Shiraz-Grenache blend, from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards, is in a quiet spot at the moment, but with aeration, it reveals its charms. Cracked pepper, baking spice, licorice, cherry and plum preserves all float from the glass, followed by a warm stone-mineral nuance. Aromas morph into flavors on the full-figured palate. The juicy fruit is wound in textural, savory tannins and there's a long, dried-spice finish. A winter warming and harmonious wine capable of aging another decade or more. Christina Pickard
