This is 100% Syrah is quite ripe, with alcohol at 15.6%; yet not over-ripe or raisiny. Rather, the fruit is like a blackberry compote, concentrated and bursting with the essence of berries and a pleasing pastry note. Along with the tangy acidity and earthy tannins, it makes for a complex and compelling Syrah.
