Not surprisingly, this young wine has dense, potent tannins, along with plenty of stem and herb accents. It's balanced texturally, and has rather acidic, young fruit flavors of cranberry and raspberry. At the moment it is the most chewy and tannic of all the 2010 reds from Animale.
