Anton Bauer 2019 Rosenberg Grüner Veltliner (Wagram)

A flinty glint of reduction hovers on the nose, underneath that subtle hints of yeast and pear appear. The palate then comes in with pithy notion that lends structure to this generous, rounded wine. A lovely lemon brightness seems to reveal layers of yeasty texture. This will take some time to come out of its shell. Drink 2022–2032. Anne Krebiehl MW
