Apaltagua 2015 Grial Carmenère (Colchagua Valley)

Hard-capped aromas of gritty black fruits, oaky char and asphalt are fierce. On the palate, this feels abrupt and clipped, with high acidity. Oaky racy plum and black-currant flavors finish with a lot of residual oak, hard tannins and juicy acidity. Michael Schachner
