This is a straightforward style of cool-climate Washington Cabernet. The herbal character of the grape comes through cleanly, with tart red fruits, hints of mushroom and just a bit of dill. Earthy and astringent, it's a wine that would sit solidly alongside a basic bottle of Bordeaux.
