Apolloni 2012 Estate Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Interesting animal notes permeate the aromas, leading into an herbal midpalate with a well-balanced mix of light berry fruit, tart acids, and some leafy characteristics. Aged in French oak, with no indication of what percentage was new, the finish shows just a hint of chocolate. Paul Gregutt
