Arauco 2004 Reserve Carmenère (Maule Valley)

Ripe and sturdy, with saturated, well-spiced aromas. Fairly ripe and rich on the palate, with ample oak. The fruit flavors are dark, a touch creamy and only slightly herbal. Doesn't try to reach too far; should be good with meat. Imported by Quality Wines of Spain. Michael Schachner
