Dusty and a touch herbal; this wine struggles for total purity of flavors and aromas, but it gets it partially right, especially with its mouthfeel. Flavors of black cherry and raspberry are a little bit green and pasty, while the oak bites more than it should. Good up to a certain level, but with issues. Michael Schachner
