By Fiddlestix Vineyard or even by coastal California Pinot Noir standards, this Pinot is light in body, tart, tannic and austere. It avoids lush immediacy in favor of extreme dryness and fruit that's subtle—only suggesting flavors of cherry and cola. What is apparent is its minerality and earthiness. Complex and indifferent to today's taste for sweet fruit, this wine wants some time to develop. Best after 2015.
