Archer 2017 Estate Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Already supplanted by the release of the 2018 estate Pinot Noir, this remains in stock as of this writing. Despite the listed alcohol it's a light, rather pretty wine, with strawberry fruit and the sort of underlying texture that suggests minerality, or carbonation without the bubbles. It's forward and fresh and should be enjoyed over the next year or two. Paul Gregutt
