The immediate burst of lovely fruit pushes ripe berry and cherry flavors front and center. One-third of the ferment was whole clusters, and those slightly bitter skin and stem flavors put a sharp edge on the tannins. This wine will want another couple of years in bottle to further smooth itself out. Paul Gregutt
