Archery Summit 2018 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Editors' Choice

A lush spicy nose greets you, followed by a palate lush with black fruits. There are enticing threads of cumin, coffee and graphite as well, and the blend of grapes from three different sub-AVAs works very well here, serving up an affordable wine with excellent balance and surprising complexity. It was aged 10 months in 31% new French oak. Paul Gregutt
