Aresti 2006 Estate Selection Carmenère (Curicó Valley)

Red-fruit aromas mixed with sulfur make for a less than attractive starting point, while the palate is fresh but on the sour side, with snappy cherry, pepper and other drawn flavors. Finishes dry and peppery, and never does the fruit show much. Michael Schachner
