Argyle 2015 Reserve Artisan Series Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This spent 16 months in French oak, and the barrel influences overtake the light strawberry fruit. At the moment the wine seems to lack complexity. Additional bottle age may help to address that and rebalance the fruit/oak flavors. For now, it's clean and toasty, with a streak of cola. Paul Gregutt
